Just got my two scooters assembled. Both run good and very happy with them but one wont idle. Runs great but if you let it sit and idle it dies. Any idea? Side note I removed the vacuum switch to supply the carb with a shutoff valve. The one runs great the other doesnt.

I'll set my idle up. Just wanted thoughts on it before I did so.

Yeah it def sounds like the idle is set low. Should fix it right up.

There should be a ton of videos on youtube on this particular bike, but other Taotao 50cc scooters should be the same thing, meaning someone might have a better video for another model if the ATM50 videos don't show what you need. Put in 'Taotao 50cc idle issues' on youtube and see what comes up.

I turned up my idle a little bit and let it run and it seemed to have take care of the issue. Question. Does any one have to give it alil gas to getthem to start? I know they have electric chokes but neither of mine will start with just the starter. have to give alil gas then they stay running.
