XF200, how are the plastics? These bikes were released in Europe before Qlink started rebadging them and importing them. As member Catastrophix from Sweden pointed out, the enduro versions of these bikes, like he has, had good quality plastics, whereas the motard version in Sweden, like you have, and what is available here in the US, has very brittle plastics. Are the plastics cheap in quality, or did Qlink upgrade them before importing them to the US?

well culcune i have to say i agree with you the plastics wouldnt take a beating but i will be 90% on hardball (pavement). they look to be a little brittle mine from the factory or in shipping has a small set of scratches on the right side of the bottom radiator like scoop? the dealer has already got a new set on its way so no worries there.

madmaximum- the place i got it was here in crosslanes wv a place called wvautosales google them cause they are cheaper than msr plus shipping that is if you live local? $2,000 out the door because im not going to register it until spring( me being a newbie and all i want to get some practice time in on it riding local at my families house in prichard wv). there the cops wont stop you for riding it down the main route. :D

oh yeah i put on a new moose bar and i bought a suzuki dr200se oil filter for it but i have never changed oil in aa bike like this so i dont know what to watch fro any suggestions ? does the filter just sit in there or is it all sealed in ? :oops:

The Suzuki DR200 uses the same engine, so it should be the same as far as changing the oil; see if the dealer might help you out. Did the dealer have aftermarket pipes?

nope suzuki dealer had just stock replacements and they didnt even have any dr200se on the floor is it a non us bike? :lol:

Place a container under the engine.
Remove the oil drain bolt (it's the 17 mm bolt located on the underside of the engine), let the oil drain.

The oil filter sits behind the "lid" that has the text "oil filter" :wink:
Remove the three bolts, be careful not to damage the seal.
Remove the old filter and tension spring.
Check that the o-ring is in place
Put the new filter in (opening towards engine)
Put the spring and lid in place again.

Mount the oil drain bolt (Be careful not to tighten to hard)

Fill the engine with oil again. (1 liter)

Clean the mess up (you probably dropped the bolt in to the old oil) :wink:

you will need the practice to pass the test. although on one of these smaller bikes it shouldn't be to hard. guys that have riden for years couldn't pass it on thier bid HDs. they all quit laughing at my yamaha zuma when i passed on the first try.

yeah i heard it was pretty hard in wv to get it done thats why im going to be riding this thing as much as possible before early spring time .... i dont want to be the road hazard!!! :wink:

So how do you like it so far? Does it run at highway speeds well?
I emailed that dealer, and he told me 1999 for the bike.

i love it but i havent gotten past the breakin yet so i cant give it what its got? it will hold steady at 60 running about 5grand but i dont want to get it past the recomended rpm .... :D

60 at 5K rpm is that 60 kmh or mph.

I like the looks of this model and a dealer that may take on Qlink.

The Qingqi 200's in Sweden seem to have a max speed between 110-130 km/h (69-81 mph)
The rear sprocket can be changed if you want lower revs.
Suzuki TS125 rear sprocket fits.
I kept the revs below 6000 for 40 km, changed the oil and filter, and since then full throttle most of the time. :D
(Changed oil and filter at 600 km also)

Be sure not to use too high gear during "break in" if you only use lower revs.

I normally don't do any "break in" on any engine, this is the first one I at least tried to...for a while...
I think it's most important not to let engines overheat when new.

Maybe but you couldn't hold it there for long before the whole thing turned to toast. With stock gearing the version in China can run 80-90kph comfortably. Past that I think you're getting ready to roach the engine.
