Ok here's the deal, my mom used to have an it125, and I was hoping to get one for her then I realized it wasn't street legal. I thought it was because she was talking about taking it on the road as a kid. Anyway, I was hoping someone knew of a old-school looking street legal bike. I was actually looking for something that was a clone of the it125 but 4stroke and street legal, but if it's old-school looking she might still like it.

The Yamaha DT125 and 175 from the late 70's would be the close to the IT but they were 2 stroke bikes with auto lube. The Honda XL125 and 185 from the same time period were 4 stroke bikes but their is a big difference between riding a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke.

Depending on the look, Cleveland Cyclewerks have a bobber (probably not the look you want) and a couple of café-style bikes. http://clevelandcyclewerks.com/ccwbikes-1/ The Ace Scrambler might be as close to an old-school enduro as far as Chinese bikes go and lowest price. http://clevelandcyclewerks.com/new-gallery/

SSR has a couple of café-style bikes as well; vintage-looking, but getting further away from what you are probably looking for. http://www.ssrmotorsports.com/store/street/250cc_street-index.php

We used to have some 'crude' Chinese enduros that looked vintage back in the mid-2000's, in 125 and 150cc sizes, but that was before the EPA cracked down on what seemed like an unlimited number of bikes reaching our shores.
