Only had it a few months now, 68 miles! I have changed out the carb to mikuni, changed out levers. All fluids replaced, chain replaced. Spoke covers on it and fender trimmed. If any interest let me know, selling due to financial difficulties. Asking 1200. Bike is in Fort Worth,Texas

Hmmmm. A bit of a drive but tempting.

It's a one hour flight and then a 4.5 hour ride home. Sounds like a fun day.

Im a stickler on engine break in so I wouldnt ride it 4.5 hours on the highways. Also Im not one to bash but years dealing with mechanical things, I know it can still be a luck of the draw on chinese stuff, so Id trailer it. Its crazy expensive to have a tow truck for that distance if something happens.

Heck, if my brother and I could road trip in his F150 to Oregon for a smoking deal on a pair of RX3's, Lubbock to FW should be cake!

I would totally drive 4.5 hours each way for that bike.

And thank you Chris! For entertainment factor and to fill some guys in, I'd been scouring craigslist until I came upon an interesting bike called a Hawk and that research led me to this site a little over a week ago. Fast forward, worked some overtime, wife went out of town for the weekend and left me to my devilish ways. I drove from Houston to Ft. Worth Saturday night and met up with Chris on Sunday. Picked the wife up at the airport in Houston last night after getting home an hour earlier, then got to surprise her with the bike when she go home. Great times!!!

I've had history with riding sport bikes and have a Busa in the garage in need of some repair(by my brother). Which is why it's not done. I want to get into doing some offroad (easy) trails with my wife and plan on getting her an old Honda C-90. That is if I don't teach her how to ride this one and she picks it up well enough.

One issue...I locked the damn ignition "box" security feature, but realized, only after, that neither I nor Chris has the little key to unlock this. I can run it with the key fob remote start, but will need to get this thing unlocked. Aside from contacting the original distributor, anybody know where else I might be able to pick one of these up? Haven't attempted to open with tools yet, but open to ideas first.

Thanks.

If it is made anything like the Hawk ignition you should be able to use a large wide blade flat screwdriver to turn and open it.

Welcome to TheTexian! Many of us on this site have had to beg for forgiveness after buying a bike, while the CFO was out of town.

nick i think this may be the same lock as the brozz, it's a blank key with that piece built on

I've come into an idea for a vacation of sorts for me and the wife and I think she's on board after a couple spins around on the Brozz. I think I'm going to fly out to the far reaches of the East or West coast, pick up a touring bike of sorts and take a 2 or 3 weeks getting back. We've done a backpacking trip in Yosemite, so I know she's o.k. with roughing it a bit as long as we hotel a night every once in a while. I'll update the forum if I go through with this.
