View Full Version : Zongshen RX4 ZS500GY
Is there any information on the release date of this bike? CSC is the sole US distributor, so I imagine they will have info on their website. I have not seen anything yet.

Has it even been built?????:hmm:
The YouTube video lists it as a 2017 model. I'm sure that it hasn't been imported yet.

If they do plan on selling it they have a whole lot of testing, certification, and paperwork to do before they can sell it and be 50 state legal. That is likely why. They are still working on getting the RZ3 in and established.

csc dude (joe berk of csc) from recent blog
"(nor would I hold my breath, for that matter, on seeing the 450cc RX4 any time soon)"
"...but as I’ve told everyone, it’s not anything we’re going to see this year or next."
That's too bad. I like the looks of it over the RX3. I'm dead set on getting a new TT250 but a 450 would be high on my list. For the money, the RE Himalayan looks good but 24.5hp from a 400cc motorcycle is disappointing to me.

The only 450cc Chinese made bike for sale in the US at this point is the SSR SR450S, at least that I am aware of. At almost $5000 though, it's well into good used JDM market Enduros and dirt bike prices. IE. I have seen 2017 DRZ400S's for less than a grand more, and those come with more or less the same power, gauges, lighting, and controls/switches that you would have to buy to add to the SSR.
