New Magician on the way! What type of oil??

I've got a new Magician 250 on the way. What type of oil does everyone suggest? I'd like to have all my parts and upgrades ready before delivery . Thanks!

15w40 motorcycle oil suitable for a wet clutch, or many people use Rotella 15w40 for diesel engines because it works fine and is easy to get.

I use to think that way also...
but then I started to wonder why jap & euro brands put
semi synthetics in right from the start...

you would think they have spent hours & countless dollars
on testing... but they still do it....
