How do I know if my atv needs wet clutch oil?.. it is an auto Matic 125.

A pic of the engine from both sides would tell us what is needed. If in doubt just use oil compatible with a wet clutch.

It is one of the Honda horizontal clones with an auto clutch. I looked at it online. I'm not sure if it's a centrifugal clutch or somthing else.

The clutch could start slipping and burn up pretty quickly.

I'm not sure where all the members are with the info on this.The best advice I can give is to look at the API label and make sure it doesn't state energy conserving or resource conserving. I use diesel oil Rotella T 15w40.

yes that is what I tell people to use.... diesel motor oil.... 10-40- ... or 15-40-45..... it has more lead and cleaning stuff in it... runs cooler and protects better,,,,,,
