Grandma and Grandpa got our boys a 125cc ATV. Not sure of the brand the tag info says:
SeaSeng , ZHEJiang
Engine Family 6SSGX.125ACH

It is a semi auto shifts fine from gear to gear no noises but will not drive. Any ideas on what it could be? I haven’t changed the factory oil yet but plan on it ASAP. Have pics of the engine as well if needed. There is a fill plug on the top of the clutch housing is it supposed to get fluids there as well? I thin so but the usless manual says nothing about it. It is a chain drive unit.

Hmmmm, has the quad ever moved? If so how long was it ridden(hours) with the factory fluid? If the quad wasn't properly prepped( factory shipping oil not changed) being a wet-clutch tranny, the oil is critical to normal clutch operation, and if the quad is run without proper clutch-compatible oil, then it might be roasted. If the quad was dealer prepped and still under warranty, return it for service. If not, these are the things I would check.

Thanks for the reply!!
It never moved I tryed once then let it be until I can figure it out. Plan on putting the new oil in 15/40 will get cycle oil for that. Does that cover the tranny or could it require another fluid as well. It has been over 20 years since I have delt with a bike engine so I am well a bit rusty.

The tranny uses the engine oil, so it is important that you use an oil that's wet-clutch compatible. Since the quad has never moved, I suspect that there might be a clutch adjustment or mechanical issue.

OK thanks the folks got it off the net from powersportsmax so if it is a fairly easy fix it would be a lot easier then shipping it back out
