Hey guys, a while back I dropped the Hawk IN GRASS, mind you, and the passenger peg caught the ground weird and the "U Shape" metal piece, that holds that actual peg to the mount, gave out in the bends :wtf: and once that metal bends it loses all structural integrity.
It's beyond me why they just welded some bent metal to the mount instead of having it bolted on some way...
Anyways, I "Ghetto" rigged a cheap peg I bought online to the mount with some extra supports AND it works great for having my girlfriends foot just resting on it or when she mounts the bike..
BUT I am getting into doing some standing wheelies from the back pegs and am finding out that this cheap peg doesnt do well under that kind of pressure and is starting to bend. (Im getting to my point soon, dont worry)
So, at first i tried to find if i could get a legit replacement part but had no luck. THEN someone on here introduced me to the TT250 parts list and I was amazed at the amount of parts and found myself going through most of all of them and came across its PASSENGER PEGs on the list for about $15.
My question is; before I buy one (Or 2) is if anyone has both the HAWK and the TT250 and could tell me if the PASSENGER pegs could be swapped with no problem
OR if someone could give me the measurements of their TT250's PASSENGER PEGs and I'll see if they match up
The TT250's look shorter, but i dont think that will matter. What I am concerned with is if the points the mount attaches to the frame are the same distance apart as the HAWK's mount and frame
