I've been running these for years. But I noticed the quality of this last one I purchased for my bashan,,,,that the mounting plate was of much lesser quality than previous one,,,well today the vertical tab on the mounting plate that serves as the latch broke off .The trunk went tumbling down the trail, but is ok.So my question is ,,anyone know if you can purchase just the mounting plate. ?

I bought the last few medium and large size Garage Pro trunks JCW had, almost two years ago. The quality never seemed to change. The trunks can be found on Amazon, Ebay, and Aliexpress but they cost a good bit more than they did at JCW. Parts are not available seperately. All of my trunks are mounted. I notice they seem to be a little sloppier on the mounting plates, but I've never had one come loose or break away. You could look for parts on forums and ebay. Maybe place a "want to buy" add for busted trunks with good mounting hardware.

So human being ,,posted a link to taibao,,,,, for the tip trunk mounting plate. ,, I thought this is great !! As long ago I had ordered from them ,,,,,,well my password an user name ,,,no longer worked. I tried creating new account. But for some reason. I just could not get it to work. ,,,, so no joy here on fixing my trunk .
