So, I woke up this morning and felt like today was the day to push the little vader a bit. I decided to take it up to a local area known as High Knob. The area is located in Jefferson national forest. It is quite the journey on the little 125 (At least to me).

The trip started out a little cool but it felt pretty nice. The first stop on the way was a local strawberry farm. They supply our local grocery stores or you can stop and buy them straight at the source.

A few miles from the farm is where the pavement ended and the climb to high knob began. I was a bit nervous at first at how well it would perform but I have to say that it was completely misplaced. There is a more direct paved route but what fun is that? I also noticed several old vehicles poking out of the weeds.

I took my time making my way up and enjoyed all the nice views. The leaves are starting to turn but it wasn't anything spectacular yet.

I passed several hiking trails on the way. I'll have to make a point to come back and hike them someday soon.

Passed some sort of work going on in the forest. Not sure what they are up to? :hmm:
The vader was dwarfed by this piece of machinery! Of course a prius has the same effect.

I finally made it up to the top and to the enjoyed the Lake for a bit.

I took another twisty two lane road on the way back home and really pushed the bike through them. The vader handled it all very well. It's such a snappy little bike in the turns.

On my way back I found someones fishing trail that led down to the river and couldn't resist taking the bike down it.

All in all I did about 100 miles on the vader. It never offered to let me down in anyway. It was a really fun ride and the 17t front sprocket made this trip even easier. I still can't recommend this little bike enough. At less than half the price of even a used grom you can't go wrong. :thanks:
