hello,
I bought my son a DB14 pit bike for his birthday a couple months back.very long story short, rear brakes were locking up after they got warm. tinkered with them and could not get it right. called company , they sent new rear brake assembly and pretty much the same thing. they work until he uses them a few times . then they lock. bled off a little fluid to see if that would help but no luck. any ideas? My son and I are really new at thishttp://planetminis.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif not sure if replacing brake fluid is the answer or what the deal may be. any help would be greatly appriciated !!
Thanks in advance!

You will need to make the adjustment at the brake peddle so that it's not putting pressure on the master cylinder. Make sure the shaft is fully returning on the master cylinder. The adjuster is on the end of the shaft.

I think that is adjusted right but i will give a second look at it. I guess I can loosen it a bit and see if that helps. there is rediculously little info on these bikes. no instructions for anything, ever lol

ok well issue fixed for now. I guess you have to bleed off a fair amount of fluid before using a complete new brake assembly. that would have been good info to include with the part I think, but the joy is in the journey as they say lol
:thanks:
