TXPowesports positive review in VA

I decided to use TXPowersports after reading all the different reviews.
-ordered online 10/29
-shipped out 10/30
-arrived in VA on 11/1
-scheduled a delivery for 11/3 and it showed up.
-MCO arrived on 11/4
It arrived faster than I thought. No damage and I had it assembled that night. I’m very pleased with there service so far.
And FYI I checked with the DMV in Virginia and it is in their database. They said there will be no problem registering it.

Welcome aboard! Nice bike and like the color for some reason .:tup: Good tip is to always take pictures in landscape. If you take it in portrait they will post sideways. I found Pictures taken with an I phone tend to post upside down for whatever reason.

Welcome to the forum, Goose! Very nice selection on the motorcycle, and I'm glad you had a good experience dealing with TXPowersports. If you post the pictures right from your phone, it will rotate the pictures clockwise 90*. At least, that's what my iPhone does. The best way to combat that is to email them to yourself from your phone. That way you can control the size (Small, Medium, Large, Actual Size) when you email them, and then post them from a regular computer. I usually send the pictures out from my phone with the "Large" sending option, that seems to be the best balance for posting. Hope this helps, and I hope you really enjoy your new Hawk!

Thanks for posting this information. I have been going back and fourth about placing an order. I placed an order with Superior and cancelled due to the BBB rating and reviews. I am going with ASPC and paying by check so hopefully the bike gets shipped sometime next week.

BTW, which model did you get? Nice bike.

I purchased my Hawk from TXPowersports too. My order day and delivery day were months apart, but that was because I pre-ordered. I had a good experience with them too overall, so it's nice to see somebody else did as well. If they carried the next bike I was considering buying I would honestly buy from them again in a heart beat.

I agree with Jerry too, I love that color...no idea why... :lol:

I would caution you about paying by check. Use a credit card if at all possible to give yourself some level of protection if the deal goes sour with claims of availability or backorder. Just speaking from others experiences from this site.

Update on APSCUSA

-Don confirmed two bikes available in CA warehouse so order placed on the 6th.
-Spoke with Don regarding the shipping label so I can mail payment. (APSCUSA actually provides a pre-paid priority shipping label so the payment can be tracked.)
- Payment received on the 10th
- Check cashed by APSCUSA on the 11th
- APSCUSA shipment notification on the 13th
- Shipper notification on the 14th with delivery estimate of 11/21

I have spoke to Don over the phone and email. I shared I wanted the bike by the 21st and he set the expectation I would. He and the young lady I spoke with over the phone were pleasant to deal with and seemed straight forward. I will follow-up next week as the journey continues.

11/20 - Contacted Don again for a status. Immediate response instructing me to contact the freight company. Freight company immediately responded and tracked the bike down and found it arrived at Baltimore terminal
11/21 - Bike transferred to PDX for residential delivery. Called received to schedule delivery
11/22 - Bike delivered.

Now for the title.
