It should be. Looks to be a dressed up 223cc from the dual sports. The styling appears to be knocked off from the Honda CB300F.

That is made by Dongfang. They are known mostly for their bobber, but their entire full-size bike line in the U.S. is based around the same single OEM'd by Zongshen (their EPA/DOT certification lists all of their bikes on one certificate since they toss in the same engine). They have a couple dual-sports, a couple sports bikes, a couple bobbers (trim differences) and a standard, and a wild, custom-like bike with long forks all US certified and all use the same thumper. In other words, this bike should be okay. Here is a looooooong thread based around the bobber; the information you would find useful in the thread would be regarding the engine. I think the engine was changed later on, so you might want to skip to about half way to see anything regarding the current engine. It seems that any issues people had were those trying to modify the engine itself, rather than doing the usual items OUTSIDE the engine (carb, sprockets, exhaust). http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/showthread.php?2738-Dong-Fang-DF-250-RTB-Bobber-Information/page625

Just a suggestion, if you are considering a bike such as this, look into a Lifan KP200. Similar Naked bike styling and Lifan quality. While only 200cc, it puts out 17hp, is liquid cooled, and has a 6spd transmission. It has a stated top speed of 75mph as well. Plenty of bike for a good around town bike that can do some light highway work. It's also rated at 102mpg by Lifan with a 3.7 gal tank lol. http://americanlifan.com/motorcycles/kp200/

Example of one. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2017-American-Lifan-KP200-5000635361

I totally forgot about these! I think for a few hundred more, the Lifan would be a great deal/bike, plus you could be our first KP200 owner on here. Come to think of it, they are California-legal where I now reside, so I might just have to take a look at them myself.

I have considered looking at one too, but I would want to sit on one first, and there aren't any Lifan dealers close to me. Being 6'4 means many bikes are just a bit small. This is why I don't own a Grom, and tend to stick to BIG sport-touring, cruiser, and dual sports lol
