Looks like Chevy is going back to the round fenders. Never did like the square ones

I like it better than the last generation too.

I'm a few generations behind, so I'll likely have a 2019 Silverado in 2038.

That sounds about right for me also. Maybe they will take my 79 F150 in on trade in 2038.

I hope the Colorado/Canyon gets a similar makeover.

I'd just like a pick up that doesn't require a ladder to get into the bed.

Pickup trucks have been getting ridiculously high. I suspect we'll see a "low-deck option" in the coming years, marketed right at people who need to load drywall or plywood into the bed. They'll present it as if nobody thought of it before.

I keep one of those folding step stools in the bed of the truck to help me step up. It helps a lot when loading the scooters.

I've considered cutting the corners out of the bumper of my 2000 Silverado, so I can weld in steps like a '14 and up GM. That wouldn't help with loading bikes, but would certainly help in climbing into the bed.

Older 2wd trucks are so much easier to work from.
