So I assembled both bikes which were easier then I thought. They ride completely different and I noticed a difference between the counter vs non counterbalanced engine. I'm currently changing the oil on both. The carb issue was a pain at first but then I think it set in good when adjusted. The battery went dead on the enforcer and when I tried to remote start it it kept trying to start before I disconnected it. I charged battery back up and no problems. Do I need to change carb on these 2017 models or are they good.

Also got certificates. Went to dmv and titled and license them both. That process was the easiest ever. Sign here and give me your money. Have a nice day.
Nice! I've always liked the Storm and I'd own one if they were legal in CA.

Carb should be fine on the Bashans. Still might need a little fine tuning, but the jets should both be standard Keihin units. The Hawk carb really isn't a bad one, just has a goofy pilot jet that can't be changed, and the tamper proof bowl screws make it annoying to change the main jet at first.
Now if you take the Enforcer front fender, headlight, and wheels and put them on the Storm... or swap the front triples and forks on to the Enforcer. You would have the bike that everybody actually wants to buy lol.

Since you have both...Is it possible for you to get them both in the same picture in a profile? I am still mulling over which one would be better. I ask because I am curious what the seat height difference really is. There aren't any to view here, where I live. BTW, congrats on the builds!

I will take some side by sides tomorrow and update for you. I'm 6ft and the Storm is perfect the enforcer is just slightly taller but not by much when sitting.

If you took the Enforcer front fender, headlight and put it on the Storm you would have a Brozz.
Minus the handguards.

That is great information as I am 6'1"...I really like the Storm more, but I was concerned that the seat would be too low. Thanks for the reply and I look forward to the side profile comparison! :thanks:

Here are some of the other pictures i will try to do more again later. I took the Storm out on the road with my kid 125lbs on the
back and it performed great. I did notice that it was having trouble starting when not in neutral this must be a safety feature now?

Does anyone know if the digital hawk cluster would work for this and what about a fuel gauge. I tried switching the light and fender over but the brackets for the lights don't align. It did look good tho.

I am now in this same boat, although I do have a residence in Yuma, AZ I am tempted to order a bike to. The problem is time. And not sure if I can claim 'dual-citizenship' to be able to bring a non-certified bike to California (legal if someone has owned a bike for at least 6 months and moves to Cal., or so I understand). Sigh....
Sorry to hijack, china007...you have gotten the proverbial best of both worlds with your Bashans--one to cruise the streets, and the other to explore dirt roads. Supposedly the Brozz is arriving in the next few weeks/months (According to the current importer), so I wonder if you have one of those on your mind to add to your collection. You know you want one... :)

There is a very good chance it will work on the Enforcer since it is almost exactly the same bike as the Hawk. The best person to get in contact with is mjstef, the man who sells the Hawk clusters.
There are only 3 things to really verify. The pin layout of the plug for the gear indicator. The pattern on the cluster mounting bracket, and the speedo drive on the front wheel. I would almost bet they are the same, or so close it can easily be made to work.
As far as it working on the storm, if you can confirm it will work on the enforcer, then you can compare the Enforcer hardware to the Storm stuff and see if they can interchange between your two bikes. Wiring and cluster wise, I am sure they are pretty close, but the speedo drive may be the issue.

Another bike to the collection would be nice. I will have to try and see if the brackets fit.

Could you give a little more detail on the difference between the counterbalanced vs the non counterbalanced, and do you find yourself favoring one over the other and for what reason.
Thanks.

I consider a counterbalanced engine a upgrade.
If your going to be riding on the highways I would go with the counterbalance. In the dirt you wouldn't notice the difference. Here is a link with a little more info:

To me the enforcer seems to have more throttle response to it. The storm is slightly delayed. The vibrations on the Storm are very light as compared to the vibrations on the enforcer which are about 4x as much. I think whwnnits on the road the off road tires account for some also. I prefer the Storm and will be selling the enforcer to my brother. I might have a broad or something else in my future also haven't decided yet. I'm really enjoying cruising around with my kids and not being ripped off my seat from my kx450 that's race modded.

Thanks, I first ordered the Enforcer and decide to change the order to the Storm the next day. I was wanting the shorter bike and the counterbalanced engine, You kinda verified that I may have made the right decision.I should receive the bike in the next week or two.

Here are some pictures of the Storm. I painted the front fork covers, the heat shield and the exhaust shield. I also mounted the led lights that megadan listed. I changed the spark plug to NGK. Oil changed and next is fork oil.

I have a couple of options and newer version being developed etc
Welcome to email a few pics of what your current cluster looks like and we can go from there

Glad to see another Storm on here. That makes 3 of us! Figure out a way to reenforce that luggage rack, it will betray you under a load. I think the stock shock is the real culprit but either way it’s not going to handle holding much off road before it starts to bend.
