Im pretty old - 66yrs - and just put together a 2017 Storm. Its my 5th Chinese bike Ive owned and probably my last at this age. My last few bikes were the 19-21 rocketas. Those bikes are too tall for me now. They had the skinny front tire and batteries that would fall off every so often. I choose the storm because of seat height - 17 front spoc- smoother tires - luggage rack - cb engine - fairly large tank - and ease of registration. I did"nt want a bike that I would have to put all the mods on. The only mod I will need - I hope - is a 39 back spoc. At my age that should be enough. The only thing I don't like on the Storm is the cluster. Its the worst Ive seen. Im gonna do it differently this time. Im gonna baby this thing and really take care of it and see how long it will last. My other bikes were ridden hard - next to no maintenance - and thrown away when dead. Ha. I guess I had to grow up sooner or later. Only 1 piece damaged plastic on delivery. Time to start fighting with Superior about it. Anyone know where I can get a plastic gas tank piece for the Storm? Pictures coming soon.

Same here. I may put a lowering link on the RX3. I'm not any shorter but the ol' leg just don't swing like it used to.
Terry 12, can't wait to see pics! What about this cluster that Skiforce 75 put on his bike?

Congrats on the new bike. I am certain you will love it. Take the time to put it together right and it will last you quite a while. Those of us who have taken the time to go over ever nut and bolt, change all the the fluids, and do a couple of key upgrades, like replacing the factory tubes, have put thousands of miles on our bikes and are still going strong. One mod I would suggest if you really want to make it last would be to install an oil cooler on the bike. This will make a big difference on oil life and really help with the clutch life.
I am going to go back to the young whipper snapper corner now (I turn 35 in 12 days lol). :hi:
I see you aren't too far from me down there in Kansas. I am your neighbor to the north up here in Nebraska.
