Kick Start

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know why all 200cc China enduro bikes come with dual electric-kick start? Kind of redundant if you ask me. Is anyone removing the electric start to save weight? I mean, at 275 pounds, a 200cc is pretty porky. I was checking out an XR200, which only weigh a lean 220 pounds.

Isn't the XR200 a physically smaller, off road only bike? You could probably save 30 lb. if you removed the rack, starter, battery, and all the other lights and electrics.

I don't use the electric start much myself, but I can't see pulling it off would save more then maybe 5-7lbs.
