Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area.
Anyone have any ideas on working out a deal on a 5 or 6 bike purchase.
All dual purpose 200's to the same address in Florida. I would think we should be able to get a pretty good price? :?
Any guess on what sort of price I should look for.....?
I will call my local dealer tomorrow, but not too sure about him.
I dont really care at all about warranty or assembly..... I will redo it all anyway......
Thanks..

Check out Rabbit Scooters. They sell the Lifan GY-5 at volume discounts for up to 5 bikes.
5 @ $6187 = $1,237 each (if my math is correct).

8O Honestly I was thinking maybe like 700-800 per bike or maybe even a little less. Especially since all they have to do is drop ship to one address with a dock.....
That price is pretty close to what I would pay for one local already assembled, tagged, and taxed......

I know some people bash T-Motorsports but if you call them I bet you could strike up a deal? Worth a shot...

So far the best deal is 960 to my door. With a 5 bike purchase.
The few AL dealers I have talked to are no where close to that.
Ebay it is I guess.
Will just verify with the friends, and maybe order tomorrow or Monday...

Why not vbikeusa if you're willing to go mail order? They have a 250cc Hi-Bird bike that looks interesting. The rear sprocket is a 46 t and the front is a 15 t, so you should be able to cruise a little faster than the street geared 200's.

The Bike & Price that is on that image is a {Dealer Only Price}, and only available to Dealers in quantity. Sure it may be what a dealer pays for this companies bikes in quantity, but then you need to look into what it takes in your State to become a registered motor vehicle dealer.
In My Opinion: The images should not have been put on the forum... But, if Maxfine wants {as a Distributor in the USA} to sell to the general public, that's Ok with me. They will not be in business very long doing this, as it is, in The USA, Illegal for a Distributor to sell to the general public.

Bruce, I have looked into what it takes to be a dealer and it would be a large investment if you didn't already own a business and have a commercial location to sell from.
Back to the multiple bike purchase. I just ran across this http://www.dirtcheapmotorsports.com/
Have no idea about rep or anything, but you could drive up from orlando with a trailer and get them.

Honestly if your shop were here I would be there tomorrow with cash in hand for the price on your site. I would be happy to support a true shop, and expect to pay a little more for the ability to have a human at a normal shop during normal business hours to deal with at a location fairly close to my home... But, I live in the Redneck Riviera known as Florida home of back yard deals and businesses that open when and where they want and run how they want, basically it is a free for all of anything goes, and usually does.
Call three times in an hour and get three different prices. That is if someone is actually there during posted business hours to answer the phone. Really Really sucks......

That's my old bike, Good bikes and the seats are very comfy. I'm suprised they are still making that exact model. If You strip of the goofy side plastics they look really good...But back on topic
It would be great to do a group buy, But how would everyone handle the titles and MSO's? Dealers have first hand knowledge of the innner working but us normal folks don't

New Hibird 250 on its way.
Was done with Lifan 200 and all the pricing goofiness so I looked at Maxfine 200 and was able to get them at below 600 if I bought 3 or more, but with shipping to Fl it was right up with the Lifan, plus the whole wire money to China thing kinda scared me a little... 8O
Actually found and visited a dealer in Florida that carried Maxfine and Lifan and had them both in stock. He wanted 2495.00 per unit. ha ha ha ha 8O 8O
Called Tim at Vbikes as so many had told me and bike is on its way with 50 more cc.....
