My dims burnt out on my headlight bulb so I went to the auto parts store to pick up a new one. Unfortunately all they sell are 55W/60W bulbs and not a 35W/35W bulb like originally came in the bike. I know the 300W stator has no problem handling the extra load but does anyone know if the headlight enclosure can handel the extra heat of a 55W/60W halogen bulb?
Alternatively what reletivly cheap LED replacement are people using?

Strange... Jerry's link worked for me but I had to refresh to get the picture to come up.
It's only twice the price of a halogen bulb.

Yes it's twice the price but 5 times brighter. I'm sure there are better and more expensive bulbs out there but for the price I'm happy. First time I rode my hawk at night I was disappointed in the stock bulb. I could barely see 30 ft in front of me. This bulb really lights up the road and signs in the distance.
