New hawk have about 45km on it. When I'm riding it feels really wobbly. Almost as if both tires were flat? Is this normal for these Chinese bikes? I've owned many bikes crf450 yz 250, drz 400, on and on. Non have felt like this. It's almost scary to ride. I know the forks are cheap and twist a lot but wow?

No that's not normal. Check wheels for trueness and if spokes are tight. Also check steering neck for play.

While you are at it, did you change the fluid in the forks?

Keep us posted!

Sounds like the bike might not of received a descent PDI .

My BSR rides like my other steel framed bikes. It doesn't ride solid like my aluminum YZ450 that's for sure.

I lowered the BSR tire pressure to 15psi for better dirt traction and it felt I had a flat riding on pavement. But I got used to it.

No that's not normal. Check wheels for rudeness and if spokes are tight. Also check steering neck for play.

I thought the same thing when I got on my hawk. I think it may be tread squirm from the tires. they are not real good. Also the forks are pretty thin. But big guys ride them with no probs. I put adventure tires on my and most of that feeling went away. But I am a skinny light fella.

Just spit ballin after 3 brews and feeling good.

make sure you moved the forks from the shipping position. mine doesnt feel like a noodle but they are so light and movement of the rider will send it that way

Good point Tim. I forgot all about that one. We had a few that didn't and the results were similar to yours.

I think it may have been the tires. The more I ride it the more I'm liking it. I weigh 240 so I am a pretty big guy. I can move the front tire back and forth and hold the handle bars still. There is a lot of flex in those forks.

Check your forks for play. Your steering neck might be loose mine was and acted the same.

Check all the bolts on the triple T and make sure they are torqued down. Merlin has a good point too.

Make sure to really tighten that front axle nut down. Really had to torque it down to stop any type of wheel play I thought was bearing play.
