So I traded a Jetski for a dune buggy a couple of months ago, the previous owner told me that all he knew about it was that it was a 1000cc SunL dune buggy that might be the 2005 model and that it had a few problems and that there was no title. Among the long list of problems, the main problem currently is that the driver’s side rear cv axle is not able to connect to the diff. on account of the spindle that the female joint of the axle was broken into. So it currently only has one functional axle. The axles have apparently broken before because they have weilds on two separate positions along the passenger side shaft. I have found that this particular model is extremely hard to find parts for especially when you don’t know what can be interchanged, or the specifications of the motor, transmission, and diff.
saferwholesales.com has a nearly identical version of the one that I have and helped with some of the specs on the motor (1000cc CHUOFENG 4-cylinder although the displacement seems to be controversial going from 1000cc to 800cc to 789cc) like measurements for length, height, and weight among other regular maintenance info (oil types, tire size, etc.) however they will not sell you any parts or give you part numbers for people who didn’t buy the vehicle from them (which for a company is stupid, that’s like saying no if someone offered you money)

I have a video of it on YouTube and will continue to post more so that others with this dune buggy will be able to learn about it or teach me about it

Any help with finding parts and information on the dune buggy would be greatly appreciated.
