I have a 50CC Wildfire scooter. I recently broke the key andidnt have a spare. I bought a new ignition from VMC uninstalled the old and reinstalled the new plugged in the connectors and nothing happened. The gas gauge didnt show that it was turning on. Put the battery charger on it says that the battery is charging and charged, but once I turn the key nothing happens still. Tried kick starting and nothing turns over.
Any help?

Welcome!
Sounds like the pinout on the new ignition is wrong; I had that happen on a quad once. Some time with a continuity tester will tell you which wires connect when switched on, and which wires connect when switched off. That sounds counter-intuitive, but that's how it works. Can you switch your old ignition on and off with a screwdriver for comparison? That'll help. Once you sort out where the wires should be in the connector, just bend the tabs, pop out the terminal and move it to where it should be.
