I've been seeing all the RPS dealers putting holiday sale buttons on their parts and bikes. I compared to the prices I had noted and there was a $0.00 difference..

Just don't buy thinking you're saving anything..

Throttle assembly holiday=35.00 regular=35.00
Stator holiday=85.00 regular=85.00
Engine assembly holiday=499.99 regular=499.99
etc..etc..

Maybe some of the RPS and dealer staff and owners that post here as customers/owners but never have anything to say when there are QA discussions or warranty-fraud can knock a little off to justify those big "SALE" holiday buttons..

Funny thing is, no matter what their listed price is, you can assuredly find the same part through CSC or Aliexpress (depending on the part) for at least half the price RPS charges for their parts.

Their price mark ups for all of their parts are a joke. Kind of like their warranties.

Alibaba you can get the engines $130.00 but there is a 20 minimum. Same savings on stators, sprockets, head gaskets, heads, pistons, rockers etc..

Engines were more than RPS on Aliexpress but Aliexpress had the other stuff cheaper. Complete engine gasket kits for CG 250cc that look the same as the RPS version were $8.00 where RPS charges many times that just for a head gasket or even the backflow o-ring..

Lowes had an entire box of US made identical o-rings for like $4.00 where the small engine carb rebuilt stuff was..

The second an engine shows up on AliExpress for less than RPS they won't be able to make them fast enough..

The following are two engines that look compatible but they cost what another Hawk or Magician would..

I don't need 20 engines but for that price I'd buy 1 as a spare.
Can we group buy this ? I bet we could get 20 sold from members here.

I'd certainly be in for one at that price. Maybe two.

I'd buy one too. It'd be easy to do we just send a trusted forum member our crypto currency or verified-paypal or a money order.. There are plenty of non-pseudonym older members here to choose from..

It's probably never going to get better than $130.00, so it's a matter of getting $2,600.00 pledged and then get it to the buyer..

If you want to group buy I might be able to help
I wouldn’t suggest the CG engine as they are only slightly cheaper then all others in the air cooled range
I priced a CG250 balance shaft and CB250 balance shaft with 6 speed and whopping $8 difference the both are Zongshen

Also Alibaba.com had loads of teaser priced
That site is all over the place and like local minds a nightmare mostly
Wrong details mixed and rediulous priced often - not to be beloved
I see stuff locally and have a good grasp on their games
Yes USA dealers get a bit greedy on some of their stuff and leaves me a good gap to get people parts cheaper while I Mae a buck as well

$130 won’t buy an engine or it be junk
Anything worth buying locally in 250 air cooled range is $275-$325 from poverty pack CG250 to high end CB249.9cc like the new GPX bikes get.
I priced DHL shipping before and around $8 per kg at 31-35kg that gives s cost based pricing excluding any paper work if needed or import restrictions on engines

That 6 speed balanced shaft is the perfect engine.. Still air cooled.. Probably higher speed and more ratios for inclines etc..
