When I got mine no doubt the front wheel had been used. the tire and bearings were new. However the brake marks on the disc and the burnt grease inside the hub where the speedo go's tells that these parts are used.

No complaints seems they changed the wheel bearing and it has a new tire on it. Not sure if they burnt the wheel bearing out or the speedo unit though. Buying a china bike is like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get. Overall its worth more then I paid so why complain?

And this is why TXpowersports maintains a bad reputation. Definitely used wheel. Although you didn't paid a large sum of money for the Hawk you still paid for new. But hey, if you're good with it, then enjoy the ride.
Have you contact and sent picture to them?

That’s pretty shady .I have owned several businesses ,and do not understand how manny has not figured out that it’s easier to do the right thing in the first place instead of treating people sh1tty and having to recover from a bad name .If he is not the actual distributor or importer ,why have they not shut down this shady guy yet ?

Nope I haven't. The Odometer gear and housing looked new. Only thing used was the hub and the brake disk. I have bought a lot of other china stuff and seen a lot worse. Just figured I'd drop it here so others can see what to expect when you order a project you generally get one. They have offered to replace anything broken or damaged. The delivery guy waited for me to remove the cardboard box before he would let me sign for it. Then he noted the scratches etc. on the shipping invoice before I signed it. I took pics but haven't sent them off. I figure there just trivial and the nature of the beast. I figure as long as it runs and go's vroom, vroom what more could I ask for giving what I paid. The greedy end up going needy. The right handle bar bolt pulled clean up out of the hole and require a helicoil (pic.) also had to do a helicoil on the top clutch handle bar mount bolt. stripped threads.

I would send it in anyway. Who knows, you might get lucky and they will send replacement parts. That way If anything fails on the wheel or handle bars at least you will have the parts in hand.
