Check that the carb slide is in correctly .

It is, the throttle fully opens from open to closed and I lined it up with the notches

I did the exact same thing when I first got my bike. Make sure there is some play in the throttle cable when it's closed. Adjust the idle from the adjuster on the handle bars first once your good there adjust idle screw on carb. What size jets (main and pilot) are u running? I had to try all jet sizes from #95 thru 125, ended up with #100 running the best. Also check for vacuum leaks, those will cause your high idle.

I'll try that once I get home appreciate it bro, and I just threw in a 110main and the stock 38pilot . I think I'ma have to find away to reconnect the evap thingy

I took all the emissions stuff off but I don't have emissions I have to pass. You need to either hook every thing back up or plug vac lines before even trying to get it to run. Once you get that done you will be riding in no time

Gotcha, and nope I don't need any emissions so I'm good, would you mind showing me your set up when you have the time please?

Would be easier to look up my post on here, I think there's pics showing what I plugged. There is quite a few vac lines on the canister by the seat so when you remove that the vac lines come with it. On mine part of the bracket that held the EGR on had a plate that I used to cover where the EGR went. I put a small filter on the crankcase breather hose. I originally drilled a hole in the intake but ended up just plugging it as it's not needed.

ITS AALLLLIIIIIVEEEE lol now it's just idleing at about 2.5k rpms I switched the carb cap from the older one to the vm22 one, I thought I was able to use the old one but apparently it was pulling the throttle cable do to the elbow, just got to figure out how to lower the idle on this thing and I'll be good trying to turn this idle adjustment screw that's not doing anything I'm quite sure I got to plug up all these holes correctly

Also throttle seems to be set with the most free play and I can't turn it anymore

Make sure you are adjusting idle at throttle adjuster on thebars first before you mess with the idle screw on the carb also how many turns out is your a/few screw? 99% of the time a vacuum leaks is the cause of high idle. I can't get u current pics due to bike is out in the shed and there's a foot of snow and it's -10 out side. Take your side plastic off and look for vacuum leaks. Check a/f might be running lean. I believe if u have it turned out 3 turns or more u need to go up 1 jet size. Should be out 1.5 to 2 turns but correct me if I'm wrong

Sounds to me if u removed canister and idle increased you have a vacuum leaks somewhere

Do a search for "high idle" on this forum, there are several threads about it and what people did to fix them. Sry I can't get you pics right now. Maybe I can get out there later today. Got to hit the sack for awhile. Be back later.

Got it idleing at 1 .5k, plugged the hole leading to the head with a bolt and some hose , and the crankcase vent left open. Only thing I notice is when I give it more revs sometimes it hangs up for a sec then goes back down, other than that all seems a ok :) gonna take her for a ride in a sec

Idle mixture is on the lean side. Richen it up a little and you should be good.

Took her out got it to 50mph at around 8k rpms or so and was running fine. After she warmed up well after a few mins seems like it cuts off on the upper rpms? I'm guessing too rich? Running the 110 main

Allow 300 miles or so for break in, rings to seat before you push to hard.

Nice and unmolested, give it time then your wallet will start getting thinner for goodies for your bike. My bike only has a little over 300 miles and I'm already about to swap in the zs190cc, not for the higher speeds but mostly for the 5 gears and a little more go. Oh well. It's only money right.

Glad to see you got everything up and running.

If you don't have one already, I'd recommend getting a clocking flange on ebay ($6). That way you can rotate the carb around so that the filter doesn't rub on the front fender on big dips and tuck the filter away towards the rear a bit.
