So the other day by Vader broke down on me on the side of the road. It bogged down and died when downshifting to come to a stop. Whether I was dropping into 3rd and 2nd and so forth downshifting to slow down it would kill the bike. Or if I hold the clutch in the entire time and down shift to 1st it would die. I thought maybe it was a spark issue so put in a new plug still had the same issue. Today I noticed a line that was sitting on top of the engine block that was pretty well pinched due to the heat from sitting on the motor. It’s not the fuel line but not sure which line it is. What I do know is it leads to a pipe on the very top of the motor. By buddy thinks it has something to do with emissions. Here’s a pic any help would be appreciated. I’m gonna take it to a ship if I can’t fix it.

It’s only happening when I come to a stop. It rode fine today no issues, it accelerates like normal just died on me few times when coming to a stop.

For all it's worth, check your spark plug since it is the simplest of troubleshooting. Have you adjusted the valves? That is a bit more involved, but necessary, and might cause your bike to die on you, although it wouldn't necessarily die on stops; at least I don't think it would just die when stopping.

First thing I did was the spark plug but unfortunately I was having the same issue.

Have you set the idle mixture after the engine was up to running temperature? Also could be valves need adjusting.
