Hello,

The LOCK position on my bike does nothing and sometimes there is a loud click/snap when turning the bars quickly to the left. I think it's related to the defective lock on the switch. Does anyone have an experience or tips on replacing thing part?

Thanks

Check to see if the ignition lock pin is lined up with the mounting bracket properly. (circled in pic) Maybe your locking pin is bent or mechanism isn't locking properly? I assume you mean that the forks won't lock when pinned left.
When turned hard left and engaged this pin in your ignition barrel pushes out enough to catch a small piece of metal welded on the frame's neck; preventing the forks from turning right.

There should be two screws holding in place your ignition barrel in the bracket... maybe hit those screws w/ some blue loctite.

Then there's also two screws that mount the bracket to your triple trees. Check they're secure.

I just replaced all these things last night actually! Long story but I had to replace the whole ignition switch & mounting bracket...super easy job. Electrical connecters were a direct swap too (standard stuff on these china bikes).

If you need to go this far...you'll have to swap out your locking fuel cap and seat trunk lock as well, but the kit below comes with everything. (New keys feel more beefy & solid than my old SSR keys actually)

As for the ignition mounting bracket, this is a security feature & if your bracket screws are still intact you might have to tap & drill them out (special tamper proof screws). Not sure what kind of hardware the Hellcats use... my Razkull had the tamper proof screws.
