Hi all just picked up a new hellcat and looking for a new low exhaust system what are you guys using and who are you buying from. Tried one off of fleabay but the bend in the pipe was all wrong thx

Many have done the exhaust mod. Your post must have gotten overlooked. Most Grom clone owners are posting in the street section. I'll move it there so you get more exposure.

What you need to search for on Ebay is exhaust systems for Honda DAX / Monkey , the Groms exhaust flange angle is different from the chinese Grom clones and that is why a Grom system wont direct fit.

If you put a Fooligan sticker on the exhaust , it will add 5 hp. Don't cheap out and put a

Photogromer or Dank Wheelie sticker on there cause those only add 3 hp. Just sayin'.

Either of those will work, and should be direct fit. Both "say " they are stainless , so they should not rust ,the big thing on stainless exhausts is make SURE you clean it with windex or similar after you install it BEFORE you start it and get it hot or your oily fingerprints will cause it to discolor and stain.It will, over time, discolor anyways but if its not oil caused burnt in staining it can be easily cleaned to a like new look again,there are several videos on YouTube about cleaning stainless bike exhausts for reference.


I really like that crazy titanium coloring on the first one you have linked , but it is a lot more $$ than the second , simpler one ,and to be honest you will prolly be better off if you drop it stunting or otherwise acting the fool with that simple low mount one, i have replaced at least two canisters on my exhaust which is pretty much the style of the first one, from looping doing wheelies and dropping it on that side and crushing it lol .So yeah ,there is that to think about too .

I also liked the color of the crazy blue one. Here is a nicer version made in Japan. I wonder if the Chinese one is the same color blue and the photos are just lower quality.

If i had to bet , I'd bet it is the exact same exhaust (the Japanese one) ,being bought by someone in Japan ( from China) and being rebranded / resold. I wouldn't pay the extra money for the one that "says" it's from Japan ,it might be sold from Japan but i bet it's that same Chinese made exhaust . FWIW, my exhaust is China made and it's been perfectly fine, the only issues i have had with it are my own fault ,as in crushing canisters from crashing, the exhaust itself was well made, good welds and sounds great and dont look bad, I think you'd be fine with the one that was less cash, the only difference is indeed , likely in the quality of the photos.

What is the exact pipe you have? Did you need to make a custom mounting bracket and did it come with a ring or did you just use the existing ring gasket?

Lol, straight drag pipe, i bet that sucker is L-O-U-D, which is fine with me but some people sweat that stuff. I don't, i mean it's a 125, how loud can it be haha. The exact exhaust i used has a "dead link " now. It was $115.00 including shipping ,and it fit right on, i didnt have to fabricate anything and came with all the brackets etc needed.It also has a DB killer you can put in or take out as often as wanted / needed .,it's one threaded bolt with a lock washer on a silencer assembly.I havent ever used it but i have it if i need it. Yeah that is it, same Seller i got mine from ,even shows the little bolt in DB killer in the picture. They usually have several styles available in their EBay store ,they sent it out pretty fast and yt got to me with no damage and no missing parts.,so i recommend them.

I ordered the same exhaust but saw another member with it that had it mounted differently. What is the the hoop that goes around the muffler connected to?

Once you get it installed you will see where it can bolt to, mine attached to the rearset bolt near the passenger footpeg ,if you have the clamp style that wraps around the muffler can and has a black rubber insert.
If the exhaust uses this metal bar that is kinda shaped like a banana ,it will bolt from the exhaust up to a bolt hole on the frame up near the seat .The Ducati monster clone version usually has the" banana " bar ,the Grom style clones have the clamp

style, but you can make either work, on either style it's just a question of which mounting hole location you need to use.

I've finally gotten my zs190 installed, wired, etc. I went to go put this exhaust on and cant really figure out how it mounts, nothing really seems to line up. I double checked with tbolt to see if it fits, but i cant really figure it out. Anyone got pics of this exhaust mounted on either motor?

You might have to fab a bracket, that exhaust system uses two bolt holes on the bottom of the stock engine , i don't know ( in fact i doubt) those holes exist on the Zs190 . Even on the stock motor, if you use those holes ( i used some of them to bolt my skid plate to ) you have to be VERY careful to use washers or spacers and make SURE you dont bottom the bolt out in the holes and poke a hole into the crankcase.

I have that problem ATM. I made a temporary mount. Enough to get it to a shop or hardware store safely until I find the proper bracket or I will have a shop fab something up.

The oil cooler too. That needs a custom bracket.

I just realized you got the short pipe. Yeah, it isn't going to line up cause the exhaust port is further towards the front with the 190 in there instead of the stock 125.

I got a full length e-bay special exhaust and that bracket I posted works but the pipe sits wonky because like you, the port is further towards the front. I'm not sure if you can tell from this photo but the pipe angles outward and rubs the swingarm.
