To answer your question correctly ,we first need to know where you bought it from .

That’s good to hear ,so far a very good vender ( many others the first thing to do is ship it back ,or at a minimum open up a credit card dispute )

Heyas Charcoal . You need to blue loctite pretty much everything you can , make sure you loctite the bolts that hold the handlebar clamps /handlebars. The engine mounting bolts need to be checked for sure , these are the ones most everyone replaces because they are bad about breaking ,I don't have the dimensions for them right off hand but they are mentioned in several threads here and the dimensions are listed, if you don't find it let me know and i'll look it up when i have a bit more time.

I have a 2018 Gen2 Vader and i built mine as a stunt bike, i havent had any real trouble with it at all and i am very hard on it .I have put a lot of aftermarket parts on it tho so that helps i guess. The Vader is a great Grom Clone and Venom is a good Dealer so you should be fine, be sure you change out the oil it comes with BEFORE you ever even crank it, its not good oil and mine was underfilled ,but that is on Baodiao and the factory, not Venom .

If you plan to modify it any at all, let us know what "style" you are looking at and i will see what build threads i can link to you so you can see what folks here have done with theirs. Here is a pic of mine :

and how many miles do you have on yours?

I've got about 1,500 miles on mine right now , I also own a 2004 HD Sportster so i use that when i go any kind of real distance .Loc tite all the screws / bolts that go into the bodywork, put some of both the front and back axle nuts- dont forget to grease the front axle during assembly, there isnt near enough on it from the factory.Dont over-tighten the screws on the plastics /bodywork, it's kinda brittle ,thats why you need to loc tite them so you dont lose them bc you can't crank down hard on em.

You can for sure get replacement engine mounting bolts at Lowes ,or even Tractor Supply if you have one near you, i'm sure Home Depot ought to have them as well, you just need a good Grade 8 bolt, i believe they are 5/16" in a US size, 8mm in metric ,the exact dimensions as far as length are mentioned in some threads here on the Forums., or you can take them out one at a time and match them up at the store.

I ran my stock ones for 300miles at least before i replaced them, and they werent broken i just went ahead and did it, as long as you check them to make sure they aren't getting loose you can probably do the same, you dont want to push it too hard for the first 300 miles anyways cause you are breaking the engine in. ,but it's up to you .,after 300 miles i started stunting mine and thats a huge stress on them so thats why i did it then . I mostly ride mine in and around Panama City Beach , Florida when we do group rides and to the stunt lot that isn't too far away from my house ,it's so much easier to get it around in traffic when it gets all " touristy" here than my big bike and it's super fun to cruise front beach road at night and see all the crazy stuff going on ( and the hot babes lol )

What do you mean during assembly? States all you need to assembly is mirrors and battery. Everything else is together

I'm right under 1500 miles and loctite or lockwashers are a must on just about everything.

no offense,...everybody has to learn. Read redcrowrides' thread on his list of mods for some good tips. I tried to list what I've needed to do on my thread as well. It's a great little bike buts needs some attention.https://www.motohouston.com/forums/images/smilies/bom.gif

Well, maybe they have changed the shipping crates and state of assembly, but here is what all i had to do to mine when i recieved the crate from Venom :
1.Uncrate it

2.Install handlebars and tighten them down.
3.Install front wheel and speedometer sensor .( a real pain if you have to do it alone)

4.Install front fender.
5.Install battery and connect it
6.Install lower rear shock bolt and Adjust chain ,it comes very loose.
7.Install mirrors.
8.Change oil, then add gas.

^That is what i had to do ,i left out greasing front axle, lubing front brake cable, clutch cable, adjusting the clutch and throttle free play to how i like it ,lubing the chain, and then pulling all the bolts / screws out of the bodywork and adding rubber washers i bought myself to cut down on vibration and rattles ,and blue loctiting all of that, and then blue loc titing engine mount bolts, and adding a lock nut to the exhaust flange nuts since it only came with 1 and i was afraid they'd loosen up, so i put one on top of them and cranked her down so that wouldnt happen , you cant loc tite exhaust flange nuts bc it gets so hot it just cooks the loctite so you need a jam nut like that.

Like i said, maybe they ship them more assembled now but if so , thats the first i have heard about it .It wasn't as muchwork as it may sound like but it was definitely more than put the battery in it and screw the mirrors in lol.

Oh , one last thing. Get rid of ALL of the stock gas line ASAP, it is notoriously bad and will start cracking and flaking from the inside and plug up your fuel filter, or worse make it thru the filter and clog your carb jets.Get some good 3/16" silicone fuel line from AutoZone or anywhere and get it swapped out quick as you can .

I spoke with Vinny from Venom Motorsports and he said it comes completely assembled except for the mirrors and battery. He also mentioned the headlight battery draining issue was fixed.

how much fuel line do i need?

Fuel line is very cheap if you can figure out what size you need preferably by taking a piece of what's on the bike and matching it up and go to Autozone or whatever store you have and buy maybe 3 feet of it should be only be a couple bucks and then you have some leftover just in case you break a gas line for example if you disconnect the line to clean the carb and break it by accident later then it is good to have extra laying around. It is very easy to cut with a razor to desired size after you buy one long piece at the auto parts store then go home and cut it to whatever size you want and it isnt rocket science just needs to be within an inch or two--make sure when installing to leave an inch or couple inches slack on what you install because the gas lines easily come loose or break if you install them taught. Also I am not familiar with this bike yet, as I am waiting for mine to be delivered anyday, but if your bike has any emissions lines that look like gas lines and you are leaving the emissions system on then replace those lines as well because those go bad too.

Hey did you get your bike and ride it yet? I am curious of the x20 because I saw it, almost got it and went with a Vader for $400 less...BUT I noticed Venom told me I think if i remember correctly they are shipping out of Canada? Then I heard that their products are more expensive because they take bikes like the Vader and lil monster and upgrade them..BUT I am not sure if that is just a myth and their bike is the same performance wise as a Vader? anyone know? I mentioned they are from Canada because Venom lists the max speed on the X20 as 75MPH!!! and I thought wow they must have dumped the extra $400 they charge into a race head carb intake exhaust and sprockets...OR they meant to put 75 Kilometers Per Hour? (whixh would be a couple miles an hour slower than some sites list the stock Vader) what is the right top speed?

Whisky

75mph is not accurate, I would say 60-65 max, they do remove the Rev limiter and come with a step up from the V rubber tires, the carb is serviceable but that's about it. The speedometer is about 5mph off at the high end. I have the x21rs which is obviously a step above the x20 and Venom still says 75mph, maybe going down hill with a 40mph wind at your back.

On any of the grom clones with a 125cc pit bike engine, you won't be hitting 75 mph stock.

The speedometers are notoriously off as well. GPS is your best bet on getting actual speed (phone app or w/e). Or have someone pace you in their car.

Now, Venom is a distributor. The bikes they sell are either a Ice Bear, Taotao, or Boom. They just stick a Venom sticker on. When you go to register the bike, if you get a "Venom X__" it could register the same as a Boom Vader where it registers as Baiodao.

I would pay attention to WHO you buy the bike from. It's worth it to pay an extra hundred to make sure you don't have the headaches that could happen. If you plan on removing all the emissions stuff... Go with an Icebear Fuerza (I believe Venom also sells it). Save you a lot of trouble having to get a block off plate and find a screw to plug a hose and all that stuff.

The WHO is the important part as they are easier to deal with any issues and such.

I double down on all of wlfpcks comments ,paying $100 more to a good Dealer is worth it if you have issues. I won't mention names but there are two different threads on going right now on this Forum with horror stories related to " I bought from the cheapest source i could find , period ". Hopefully you won't have any issues ,but if you do, that extra $ you paid Venom for example will pay off when they actually do help you ,and it will likely cost that same $$$ plus more in aggravation and time if you buy from " El ChEap0s LoWesT InTernEt PRicE FuN FaRm and China BiKe OuTlet" and they spend 2 weeks avoiding your phone calls. emails , and then refuse to do anything if and when you ever do get a hold of them on a warranty or damage claim.

On a final note ,you might get 75mph on a Zs190 swapped Grom clone, but that is the only way ,no stock one will run that no matter what their ads may say , I dont even think the Piranha 150cc ( its actually a 141 or 143 cc i think)engine would pull off 75 MPH . I own a 2018 Vader and i'm fairly light at 170 pound and thats just not gonna happen, and i have a carb, pipe, air filter and racing CDI , lol.

The zs190cc will hit 75mph forsure but me personally wouldn't want to go that fast on these little bikes, I've seen people go 85 + and "No Thank You".
