How do the purchasing prices compare? How many CSC City Slickers can you purchase for the price of ONE Zero SR?

If I lived in the city and had the cheap non-rural electric rates, I'd use one of these for commuting and ease of parking. Could probably stick one anywhere downtown.

$2,495 + $400 dealer add on, free shipping, and your state registration fees.

Zero, for the DS with all batteries about $20k

Extra battery for the City Slicker is $1,100 or $1200, I forget already.

I called today and was thinking of ordering one up, but at $3k plus I have other financial things to take care of. That and not enough range at this time.

Interesting that the motor is mounted on the swing arm, like a scooter. Makes the chain shorter and it should last longer, without the stresses imposed by the suspension.

It uses a belt. I asked if they had other pulleys for gearing and they said not at the is time, they are in contact with Zongshen. Reviews of the bike are it takes off like a bat out of hell, but tops at 45. With one or two more teeth on the front pulley, might make it a bit more versatile. You would have to have it custom. The rear pulley would be an expensive proposition because they say it is all cast to the cush hub.

They are working on a 450 adventure bike and a twin cylinder 380 street. Maybe next year. These are brand new bikes that Zongshen is gearing up to make for CSC. No specifics on cooling etc.

This is great news! I'm glad CSC is looking to expand as opposed to simply hang on.
It would be interesting to see if one of those city slickers could be modified to spank a Grom.
