Anyone know where my oil drain is? attached are pics of my bd125-15 Boom Vader gen 1. I just got in great shape shipped from Kronikracing.com ...in the pic i am pointing at the bottom right front of my engine case and thought that is the bolt but I tried to take it out and it hit the exhaust and wouldn't come all the way out!! Am i supposed ot drain it thru the oil filter??:hmm:

thats the oil drain bolt, its a 17mm bolt. you may need to remove the exhaust to get to the bolt.

I appreciate the reply thats just what I had to do. I just removed the engine head exhaust bolts and that was just enough wiggle room. So thankfully I didn't need to take off the entire exhaust. SO far I am really happy my bike came in good condition and the quality of CHina bikes has definitley been getting a lot better over the last 20 years. Still a few kinks like the factory assemblers in Asia put my drive chain way too tight but Im really happy with it so far

Next time ya got $5 to spare order one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/Magnetic-Oil-Drain-Plug-Bolt-For-Honda-FMX650-FT500-GB500-GL500-GL650D-GROM-Blue/282943675143?hash=item41e0c1db07:g:9IIAAOSwQFNa4Xo k
Cool anodized Red finish and magnetic so it helps pull any metal out of circulation, nice addition to the oil spinner for keeping trash out of oil.
