If your new Chinese bike is going to be shipped by Saia, you might want to reconsider.
After getting nowhere with the company that I purchased the bike from, I was encouraged by fellow Chinariders members to file a claim with the shipping company. Mind you, I had the Bill of Lading noted with the damage to my bike.
I called and talked to Alex Moreno, AMoreno@saia.com, 1-800-765-7242 x 7435. She told me to create an account and submit the required paperwork. After creating my account, here’s what I get:
16693
After 3 days, I started checking my account. I tried emailing the websupport@saia.com. My emails keep coming back undeliverable.
I have left numerous voicemails and emails with Alex. She has not returned any of my requests.
Needless to say, I don’t think Saia is going to help me.
