New muffler on my hawk

So I ordered a shorty muffler from eBay with a removable baffle a week or two ago and it showed up yesterday. A lot faster than I was expecting! It really isn't much louder at idle than the full eBay exhaust but wow it gets pretty loud at higher rpms. I love it so far. I just used the pipes from my other full system of course. I did have to slightly grind out the adapter cone piece to slide it over the pipe but no biggie. It lines up with the stock exhaust bolt too. Mainly posting this if someone is looking for something a little more noisy. I am in Utah so there's no db restrictions on Moto exhaust as long as you have a muffler.

The Ebay muffler is already pretty darn noisy as it is lol. I mounted a different muffler to mine on my last Hawk that was a bit shorter and also louder and a small part of me regretted it. The drone will drive you bonkers after a while.

Definitely looks bada$$. But I agree with Dan, my Amazon pipe is already too loud. Noise laws in southeastern Ohio aren't really enforced, but it might draw some unwanted attention.

I thought about getting one of those chinese knock off mufflers from ali. What MM is the outlet on the ebay exhaust?

it's 38 to 51 mm. A little large to fit inside the pipe I had on there. Just used a Dremel to grind the inside of the adapter down a little to fit over it. No way it would be able to fit inside my mid pipe.

Maybe it's just me but there's lots of loud exhaust around here and it also luckily has that baffle that quiets it down quite a bit. You may be right though, I could get sick of the noise after a while but I have the old muffler that I can always put back on. I guess I'm just being young and dumb haha.
