Hello. I am a new owner of the tbr7 250 from taotao. Right now i am having an issue with my brake light. It stays on all the time, and nothing changes when the brake pedal or leaver are pressed. Can any one help. I think the wires may have been hooked up wrong. I have tried different connections to no avail. Any assistance or info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do you have a mechanical or hydraulic brake switch on the rear? If its a mechanical switch it may need adjusting. I've also had my front brake switch get stuck and would stay on. I cleaned the crude of from it and started to work again.

You can narrow it down to which switch by unplugging one switch at a time to see which one is the problem.

I agree with Jerry that it is likely a switch. Do as he suggests and unplug one switch at a time to narrow down if that is your issue, and which one it is. The connectors are rather easy to get to. The rear should be accessible with the seat removed, and the front should be two small slip connectors on the bottom of the master cylinder.
From what I could tell looking at the Motocheez assembly video, the rear is a banjo bolt pressure switch. IF that is the case, and you discover the rear is the culprit, I would look at the rear brake pedal adjustment. Make sure it isn't putting pressure on the system or you will have more issues than your brake light being on.
