I have all good things to say about Don so far. The bike should arrive tomorrow, so we will see on that. The tracking says it's on time.

Don has been very approachable. I had a screw up on my end with Amazon pay and he was totally chill.

We talked on the phone for a good half hour about the licensing and street legal stuff and he was very upfront.

As long as the bike shows up in near perfect condition, I give him an A+

The guy is first class. I've bought my Hawk and a UTV from him. I had some shipping damage on the UTV ( not his fault) and he sent out replacement part right away.

His website is sketchy looking, so I was a little concerned. I called the number and it was disconnected, so that didn't help. I'm sure he just made it himself for next to nothing. But, it works just fine.

He answered my email and gave me the updated number.

When the bike arrives, I'll make a follow up post. I hope I didn't jinx myself by counting my chickens before they hatch.

Yeah, his name is Don Hopper. Very easy to talk to, knew what he was talking about.

I talked to some folks at different sites that I've seen on here and they answered with as few words as possible or someone returns my call that knows next to nothing.

I couldn't get anyone to give me a straight answer on the "Is Hawk legal in CO?" question. Sounds like anything is possible, if you have the time and the patience to deal with government crap.

Bike showed up this morning about 11 am. I ordered last Sunday, so really, Monday morning, and it got here on Friday at 11 am.

Came on a lift back truck, driver put it in my garage, no charges. Perfect.

I did make a call on Thursday to the local truck company, just so they would know I would be home when they arrived.

I'm sitting in my office, waiting to GTFO, and check out my toy! This day is great and miserable at the same time!

Strangely, I bought a Harbor Freight pneumatic ratchet the same day as this Bashan Storm. The ratchet is still in LA area somewhere and the bike is in my garage. If I had put money on things, they would have been backward.

I'm headed to the pay Ace Hardware price for the rachet/impact wrench.

Any idea which tool I will need more of for the assembly? Are most of the bolt and screw heads the same size or just a couple of sizes?

I only have a few deep well sockets, so if you tell me which I will need most, that would save me a trip.

Another hour to go. Keep me occupied.
