I have two different types of bikes; the Magna and the Apollo. Previously, I've only worn either cowboy boots or construction boots because both come over the ankles. But, I think I was to improve upon my footwear safety. I was thinking of getting either a tall adventure boot or even a motocross boot. I don't think a street boot is going to give me the protection I need for trail riding, should the bike fall on me or I hit some brush on a trail.
I am looking for suggestions for one good pair of boots that could possibly do double-duty for my street and off-road riding. Or, am I asking too much? Should I just break down and buy two different boots?
Suggestions? What do you all wear?

I might be slow on the the uptake, but I’m guessing that was supposed to be offensive and directed to me in some way and for some reason. Internet tough guy?

Forma ADV boots...
..
This is a great suggestion. There may be a little sticker shock involved, but there usually is with good boots.
My suggestion was going to be siminlar with a set of Sidi boots. Discovery or Armada. I have a pair of Armadas that I got on sale through Revzilla and they are the best damn boots I have owned.

Forma ADV boots...
..
Do they have the hinge for walking etc? I doubt I live long enough to ever actually need new boots ever but I would enjoy a set with the hinges.

I infact bought them for the trials bike...
they are so flexible…. you can actually walk in them
unlike MX boots... you can wear them all day with out
getting sore feet..
I have Forma ADV and Forma MX boots.... can't remember the last time
I wore the MX boots...
shorter ones are the ADV boots...
Maybe I should give them a clean one day....
