On these type of engine is a waste of money to get "special" spark plugs. Just get a Japanese NGK D8ea, they last for a long long long time.

have Ngk in it now works decent so far , but new plug. Had iridium didn't last to long about 500 miles that was ngk , now regular ngk Dpr8ea. Thanks guys for imput

An Iridium plug should damn near outlast the bike. That is all I ever run in my bikes is NGK Iridium plugs. What was bad about it after 500 miles?

Plug just died Megadan. Started with hesitation when hit throttle ,then cut out on bike when running rpms. Last cut off when idle, maybe the plug was defective bike only has 1400 miles on it or so. Valves are adjusted plug had 500m or so was upgrade over 1 in it, went iridium .Factory plug first then dpr8ea, then iridium now has new dpr8ea used old 1 for backup. Plug was running a little lean but like good gas mileage. Been out of these things for 40 years almost, started with chinessee mini bike last year coleman ctu 200u-ex was introduction back in that an what was almost just alike same thing wrong with mini bike magician needed same thing
