View Full Version : Info on Wildfire QH200GY Hi-bird

Hi, I'm new to riding Chinese bikes (and really just motorcycles in general) and I was wondering if anyone had any info on a 200cc Wildfire QH200GY Hi-Bird Enduro I got from a friend. After replacing the carburetor and spark plug it runs very well but leaks oil due to it being overfilled. If anyone has any documentation or could tell me how much oil it would need for an oil change that'd be great. Thanks :)

You got a sight glass or dipstick? Use that and just add slowly
Really not hard to work out, I’m sure you will stop at a quart if you only tried your self and added oil slowly etc

Also nearly always ignore make n model of a bike
Focus on what parts or engine it is etc never look for diagrams specific for a china bike as they 99% don’t make it have them.
It’s all self learnt thinking largely - sorry but having the need to ask in a new thread how much oil imo is a bit silly as you have either a dipstick or side glass and slowly adding some will show you
Also estimating or measuring what came out will give you some idea to solve the question

1.0 liter is the normal oil change capacity. 1.2L disassembled
OHV CG oil capacity should be also as CB2000 model above.

If memory serves me, since it is a Hibird, they were clones of contemporary Lifan dual-sports, or possibly related (i.e. Hibird was a subcontractor for Lifan but they also made their own bikes under their own name).

But all that does not matter unless/until you need bike-specific parts such as plastics and whatnot. Engines are pretty much the same across the board as several already mentioned. I am just reminiscing from the early days of Chinariders when these were fairly common here...

Cool bike. Unsolicited comment BUT.....I bet a LED headlight bulb change would help you see A LOT better at night and let people see you better from the front.

It has a sight glass. I really just wanted to know so I could buy enough oil. Using the amount that comes out wouldn't particularly work because of how overfilled it actually is (The level is over the sight glass and on my first ride on the highway it actually started leaking oil everywhere due to it being overfilled). Thanks for your guys' help!

Drain it out and refill with less and slowly

Alrighty, will do. Sorry if I'm asking the stupidly basic questions, I'm just making sure I'm doing this right. I'm completely new to riding and just want to get the most out of it. I have a friend who rides a KLR 250 but most of his answers to my questions are "It's a s****y Chinese bike." and that doesn't really help. I'm proud of my bike, and thanks for the help, again :)

Feel free to ask whatever you need to. There isn't a ton of info out there on these bikes, so you end up relying upon this community for help. There is the odd jerk who will try to make you feel dumb, but most of us will answer your questions with more respect.

Nice old school China bike! They hold a quart.
Drain it, clean the screen, dump in a quart. Ride.

Just be prepared for your friend to be extremely Jelly when you get your "sh***y" China Bike working for pennies on the dollar compared to his Green Machine (Kiwi 250)... and try not to rub it in too bad when you are passing his slow ace on the trails because he is afraid of dust and scratches... and then all that waiting around for him to constantly fill up his gas tank... these little 200s can go everywhere the big boys 2 stroke racing bikes go, all while getting upwards of 100 miles per gallon when tuned properly :crazy:

Your friend is just an a**hole, the best thing you can do is ride the bike with him. When he needs spare parts watch him cry when kawasaki charges for the parts as if it was buying for a klr650... Also tell him that he should buy a few exhaust cams, because the KLR 250 is known for eating away the exhaust cam.

The KLR 250 is 4 Stroke and it was an ok enduro motorcycle. It was quite powerful for an Enduro 250cc 4t motorcycle. It was used by a lot of military forces around the world. In fact it was also used by US Military, before they switched to the M1030M1. Like most of the 250cc On/off motorcycle, max speed is somewhat below 80 mph..
I want to get one, but after fixing 2 2t kawasakis, i won't be fixing another one for a while....

The problem is not the motorcycle, the problem is his friend, who may now how to move a motorcycle from point A to B... but he ain't a rider.. A true motorcycle rider is not going to mock another rider for his ride...
There is always someone who will have a better or newer motorcycle that we do.
Someone with a brand new KLX250 can say that his KLR250 is just a museum piece which is not that far from the true.
