My understanding is that the little line coming from the intake is vacuum, big line is air inlet, and pipe is injection to cylinder. I can just plug the vacuum line, and then make a plate to cover the cylinder hole, and drop the system out of the bike, right?
Thanks, y'all.

Yes, That is correct.

Where does the other end of the vacuum line connect?
On Q, i wanted it to look like it was there, just in case. I put a BB in the small line and a piece of all-thread in the big line.
Keep in mind, it doesn't rob power and if you're keeping your stock exhaust with cat, you may want to leave it functioning. It'll keep your cat clean.
If you're going to an aftermarket muffler and no cat, disable the air injection or it will cook your muffler packing.

I gave Motocheez a blacking plug for the head / he didn’t need it maybe he’ll send it?
There is a blanket I’ve bought in China before

Performed a cat-a-tectomy on the stock pipe. Now I have popping on decel, with occasional backfires, and JerryHawk250 suggested removing this to help with that.

Did you re-jet after removing the cat? the combination of extra flow in the exhaust and the pair pumping air into it could for sure account for the popping.

Definitively going to want to disable the air injection then, unless you have a deep hatred for your muffler packing. ;-)

That's really cool! A vacuum nipple in that location would be useful for tuning with a vacuum gauge. I'm inclined to drill my intake tube to install a vacuum nipple for that reason.

I have removed the air injection stuff, and there is almost no popping on decel now. I had to buy a little vacuum cap for the carb nipple, and for now I just put a cap on the pipe on the cylinder. Drew a pattern on a piece of metal to make a blanking plate, but don't have time to cut it out right now.
On a side note, the one and only neighboring house burnt last night. Unoccupied, for years, a flipper bought it last year, made it nice, listed it for too much, and now its gone. Wonder if someone will buy the property and build again. Hope not.

Happy to see it helped! Should be running good now.
I have a house next to me that has been vacant for two years. I wish it would either get bought and fixed up or just burnt to the ground. If I could afford it I would buy it and level it just to have the extra property.

The insurance adjusters in the crowd would call that suspicious.

Removed mine the other day and covered it with a blank and plugged the airbox nipple and the intake nipple. No more popping at all.

Just in case folk think it's usefull - there is a way for me to make a kit n blank off the head, replace manifold so no nipple etc.
Just a thought

The TBR7 has something similar on the exhaust. Gonna have to see where the hose goes and cap it off tomorrow when we put on the performance pipe.

Or they can find a piece of metal (like a thick can of baked beans or a soda/coconut water), grab some metal snips, a file, or even a fancy dremel tool and use a "rubber plug" for the manifold nipple... anyone can make their own block off plate/kit for a few pennies :wtf:
Just some spam filled food for thought :hehe:

If you make a nice anodized aluminum plate with ChinaRider's forum logo on it I would buy it! Especially that I really need one right now. :D
