IIRC you get the MCO along with a bill of sale which has the dealer info on it.

If the MCO came with the bike it's more than likely not the correct one. You have to request the MCO and Bill of Sale form the dealer. It will be filled out with the correct information.

That's what I had when I went to try and get mine done in TX. Got shot down cause they said that it wasn't signed blah blah blah. Mine was second hand though, not new. Went the Vermont route and after a year, got it registered and titled with Vermont paperwork.

My mco that came with the bike???.....the one that came in the mail I lost, and I tried to use the one that came with the bike. No Bueno, they even looked for a watermark....no Bueno, the lady took it to her supervisor, they were kind, but told me I got scammed. I think mine wasn't signed either, but possibly, or potentially, maybe my daughter signed it. I plead the 5th. I knew better, tho', I tried everything. I ended up getting a duplicate copy, and it flew right thru.

So I emailed to request the mco and I was told it should have been filled out and sent me the dealer information to fill it out myself, fingers crossed it passes through the dmv

They should send you one that is filled out and signed. I don't know about your state regulations but in Louisiana it has to be signed and notarized along with a notarized bill of sale.

I got lucky and my MVD in Yuma called Excalibur Motorsports directly and confirmed the MCO. I don't remember the details as to what was wrong, but I do remember them calling. I walked out with a plate and title.
