Hi All,
Just joined today. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Chinese pit bike. Question is; which one. This is mainly for my wife/kids so I don't need the performance; basically looking for durability and reliability. In my research, I've come across many Chinese brands; SSR, TaoTao, Apollo, Coolster, Orion, and so on. They all kinda look the same so are they? Are all the parts interchangeable? I obviously need to do more reading on Chinese brands.

So far, I'm getting a lot of positive reviews on the SSR's and the Orion RXB. Came across this Forum and thought I'd give it a try. Hoping to get some helpful tips from those Pit Bike enthusiast in here.

Thank you in advance

I had a 2015 ssr and I would say there are better options out there. I have not owned any other 125cc bike's so I can only go by what I have seen and youtube reviews. My opinion would be that ssr is over priced for what you get. They have not changed anything from when I got mine years ago. I have been looking at 125cc pit bikes a lot. They have big appeal to me for their price and performance.

For me the top 2 would be the apollo rfz dbx18 and the orion rxb. The orion is more expensive but better quality. The apollo is very popular and and good looking bike. The orion does not have many youtube followers like the apollo but I think it is pretty sharp looking also. If you got either of these bikes I would say you would be happy with them. Just a matter of price and which you like better.

I would look over this list for a start and then go to other sites--Orion Powersports sells a few brands besides Orion and they assemble them and offer free shipping. They seem to be a good dealer according to the several members who have bought bikes from them.
