I have not even got the bike yet (in the mail) and im already starting an exhaust and other mods =)

This is my idea.. Take a 250cc - ish head pipe that is larger diameter then stock. You can find them on ebay for about 10 bucks as seen here..

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/9063/64061zj0.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Then take a 1.5 inch exhaust pipe like this..

http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/1948/pipeca0.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Then take a muffler like this..

http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/1372/muffuh9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

Weld on the appropriate size piping and adapt to the smaller head pipe size.

Then get out the sawzall and turn on the mig and make yourself an exhaust!

That exhaust is only $70 less than what I paid for my entire bike...

I have built my own exhaust for 350 cc, 650 cc 4 strokes, and 440 cc 2 stroke. Cost of aluminium or stainless tube muffler is about $20 parts and a couple hours labour...

I be frigged if I put a $150.00 exhaust on a $200 bike.

Although I have the Technology/tools/knowhow....

Where can you get a $20 muffler?

You only paid $200 for your bike!!!??
I paid $1,300 for mine, do you have a 08 200cc Lifan Enduro?

Hmmm nice.

I went the easy route and will be trying this setup on my wifes bike as soon as this damn snow melts away.

250CC GIO Dirt Bike Pro Series Sports Exhaust (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=022&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=350030005451&rd=1)

I put an XR200 aftermarket exhaust on mine last year and it works well but that is after making it all fit together right.(big headache)
My hope is that the pipe I bought for the wifes will pretty much just bolt right on with only maybe a bracket needing to be moved.

No I built the entire thing...$20 is parts...tube, baffling,packing
No 2008 YongJiang 125cc mx..full size 17"/14" bike not a tiny pit bike. $200 for bike,$299 shipping
I realize that it is no 200 cc d/s but I can buy a 250cc mx for 6 of those pipes, and add on a d/s kit for $150...giving me a 250cc d/S for under $1000(before shipping(($1300 w/ship))). At least in Saskatchewan I should not have big issue...as long as it has horn/lights/signal/brakelight/rated tires...it is good to go.

Hey ,I am all for upgrades, but the exhaust port on the head will only alow so much through, Smaller disp. bikes do not need large headpipe...stock headpipe is generally more than enough flow...just need to open up baffling for flow.
I like Hmf/supertrapp/Yoshimura... but if I was worried about brand names I would not ride a China bike!

The 250cc dirt bike system for your wifes bike looks good but there is no more for sale..

*************************************

Making your own muffler.. thats kinda wierd. The ones they make look so much nicer then ones someone could make themselfs.

The 2008 YongJiang 125cc from what I have seen is not a full size bike at all its a pit bike. Its listed as a semi auto shift and if our 200cc bikes lack power offroad I could not imagine what that would be like. Your not going to get something like the 200cc Enduro Lifan for just $299 bucks.

This is what I pulled up for a picture.

keep checking, they put them up there every so often.
I have been watching them on and off since last year at thats what I have seen them do so just keep checking or maybe contact them and see about buying one.

They have a different but good pay method that I actually found to be nice.

On the the only bad note the items (I bought two different exhaust systems) were packed in a big box with just a bubble wrap around them and really could have used a bit more packing but then I thought who cares they got here ok and they are just going on our offroad toys.

that exhaust does NOT come with the clamp or any other hardware either OHH and it NOT USFS approved.

The 125cc is for a 11 year old girl, 5'6" tall. personally, I (adult) would ride a bike no less than 250cc, but that is personal preference.

Mine(daughters) is Canadian special order built (17"/14" rims, etc.).The picture is close, but the forks are full size, longer swingarm, and real size rims and tires...check out my pictures in the gallery... (somewhere on last page). It has a seat height of 32"...(125 cc 2 stroke seat height.)
you will see the difference. I am sure your 200 has a seat height of no less than 32" as well.

The 250 needs a d/s kit added to it...bought anywhere for the price of the muffler you showed.

Bty, I am a proffesional metal worker and can weld a frame better with my eyes closed than the Chinese appear to be able with theirs open...
I fabricate items all the time that look store bought...wait I am the store ...no wonder...LOL.
Would you tell Boyd Coddington(RIP) that he can't make a car as nice as factory ???

enough thread stealing... If I where looking to upgrade, I would only worry about muffler, not headpipe...If that answers/means anything.
A muffler for a 200 atv/mx bike should fit with only minor mount issues or perhaps muffler I.D....as team cheap has described.
