Went over to the place I got my DB07, just to see what was new, and he had this nice looking little street bike. Reminds me of a Nighthawk 250 a little, It is a 1cyl 200cc, but looks to have the counterbalanced engine. It has a nice size tank that I think is nicely shaped. He was asking $1200 for it. But it is now reduced to $900 because he does not have the title for it. He is a major distributer, and he said he bought this at the bike show, from another distr, and the title never got sent, and now he does not have the time to mess with it.

Pretty sure it would be a PITA to get done in Ohio.. he seemed to think all would need is a bill of sale, or a builders title, because the bike has never been titled before. But he is in Indiana and I think they are more relaxed about this stuff.

Any thoughts? or opinions?

Here are some pics.. last ones are of his showroom... he will have more scoots in the next week or so.

you could get a Hi-bird 250 street bike, with a title, for about the same $$. I do like the look of this one over the Hi-bird, but I can't pronounce it let alone heard of it, and without paperwork, I would be hesitant--but it is assembled at least--just be wary even for a low price like that.

BTW, in the fifth picture down of the general showroom, that quad wit da 22's (or whatever size :? ) looks like da bom...or should it be bombed?!?

...he said he bought this at the bike show, from another distr, and the title never got sent...

Interpretation: this was a single sample sent over for Indy. It's the only one in the country. There's no EPA so no distributor/dealer can sell it for street use without being liable for a whopper of a fine.

I just saw one of these yesterday right in my own neighborhood here in Florida. Didn't know what it was. I didn't check to see if it had a license plate. I just assumed it was licensed.
