Hi all. I've been lurking here for months gathering info on chinese bikes and finally decided to join your wonderful community. I have finally decided on buying a TBR7. Which dealer would be the best to buy this bike from? I am interested with anyone's buying experience from places like txpowersports and q9powersports, as well as any others.
:thanks:

I bought a hawk several years ago from Q9, they were great back then, would think they still are.
Last year I bought a Brozz from Jeff at peacesports, he was great.
I just ordered another Hawk from Txpowersports yesterday, it's already shipped and in transit, so... So far so good.

If you go with txpowersports.com use "Motocheez" for his coupon to save $25. Check Motocheez on YouTube if you haven't already. Lots of info.

I bought my 2020 tbr7 from txmotorsport, and they did great. Title sent out really fast too. It's a great bike too! I've had it about 2 months and have over 1,400 miles on it, no problems at all!

Bought my 2019 TBR7 from TXPOWERSPORTS.
Delivery was super fast ( had the bike in 5 days via UPS LPL to a suburb in New York ).
MCO arrived exact same day as bike
Only 2 issues with the state of the bike
Only 1 fork was connected to the frame via the front axle bolt, placing the majority of weight onto the 1 fork, the other fork was not bolted on at all.
The weld that attached the handle bars to the top of the shipping frame was broken, once again placing ALL of the weight onto 1 fork.
Everything else was perfect, no scratches or dents, all hardware included, no leaky battery acid etc.
In the end, the fork was fine and life went on.
Reggying the bike in New York was no problem either with the paperwork from TX.
For the record, I did everything online and never spoke to a human being.

I ordered a tbr7 from TxPowersports should get delivered early next week. I have been looking around for info for my elevation but having a hard time. I know they say to wait to jet the bike till after break in does that matter a whole lot if it’s really lean won’t it heat up to fast.
Also I am at 5000 feet elevation would the stock carb and jets work or what jets should I switch out. Sorry for the hijack new member but can’t figure out how to create a post

You could certainly try it.... that's what I have heard and I have watched a million and half videos on the TPR7 in the last week.....

congrats on your purchase, be sure to post some pictures for us! Borg, you might try to run the bike in stock form and see how it performs, then you can figure out if its too lean or not. I would say you should get carb stuff like jets for the stock carb, they're like $9 on amazon.

Borg the stock carb comes with an 88 main and runs as lean as a vegan on a cattle ranch.
Swap to 100 main and go from there..... or suffer the 10 minute wait on choke.

Are you sure you got the 2020? One difference I know of is they have a skid plate installed. When I contacted TX they said they did not have the 2020 TBR7 and couldn't tell me when they would have them.

I got my son's from TXPowersports Feb and it's a 2020 with skidplate.:hi:
Mine came with a 2020 title and has the skid plate. On their website it says a 2019 but it has all the features the 2020 said it would come with.
Got my carb tuned I have a 105 main jet, also changed the fork oil to 20w and did my oil changes with T4, seems to be running great. The best upgrade was the chain and 17 tooth sprocket

Borg.. what chain did you go with? (price, vendor etc. ) if you don't mind me asking
I went with this chain had to cut 2 links off of it chain was $19, wanted it a little longer just in case didn't know the exact size needed for the in crease in sprocket, now my tires all the way forward so as the chain looses I have a lot of adjustment Is a JT Sprocket 132 link
JT Sprockets (JTC428HDR132SL) Steel 132-Link 428 HDR Heavy Duty Drive Chain (Off amazon)
And this is the 17 tooth sprocket I got was about $10 (Off Amazon)
JT Sprockets JTF259.17 17T Steel Front Sprocket
