Are these the exact same engine? The Zongshen 190cc 2v vs. the Piranha 190cc 2v. From what I've read, Zongshen makes Piranha. But, are these 2x engines the exact same? Or is Piranha a "premium" offering from Zongshen, like Lexus vs. Toyota?

Zongshen does OEM engines for other brands bikes, with the engines being proprietary to that manufacturer. An example would be Dongfang using a 223cc engine which is made by Zongshen, but is EPA/DOT certified by and for Dongfang.

I am fairly certain the aftermarket engines intended as 'off-road' engines are not proprietary and the only difference is the brand name slapped on it. I believe Pitster Pro has the best deal on these engines right now.
