Hawk rear rim failure?

Just food for thought. Has anyone ever bent a back rim? I know it's pretty easy to "taco" a front rim, but other than a broken spoke here and there I haven't heard of a rear rim failure. 🤔

The worst I've heard of is a ding here or there like any other rim.

Nope, not so much as a bend. The front wheel has longer and thinner spokes and a narrower hoop, so it is prone to bending by default when compared to the rear.
