tonight took the rear upper and lower motor bolts out. coated them with high temp silicon and then locktite on threads. Twisted it down as tight as possible...feels pretty good.

wow...did a web search after the fact and found out that this red threadlocker stuff is very difficult to remove. I maybe should have used the blue.

also had to tighted handlebar bolts. the bottom two were coming loose.

Yea, I use mainly blue. Now they have a green one that is suppose to penetrate into the treads protruding a nut without removing the nut. The green stuff is very thin, I don't know how well it will work yet.

I use the red stuff at work. If I have to remove something, I just go over it with the propane torch to heat it up a bit. Might not be the best around painted areas. I used blue when I put my bike together.

On my engine mount bolts I switched them all to grade 8's and used steel locknuts and a few washers where they fit and nothing else(nothing else is needed)

I just put a better bolt and a lock nut on the one... Of course I sold the bike before I really used it much after that but I think it was good.

I know mine is good because after correctly bolting in the engine I have ridden it offroad fairly hard for several hours and it is just fine like you'd expect it to be.
