Decided today that I do not want to wait for another month or so to start my riding season haha I usually am the guy that waits until its atleast consistent 65 and up before I bring my bike out, but after missing last season Im itching to ride. Next week Im bringing my bike up and outside to the back yard! When I see a day thats even alright, im taking it for the first ride, Brand new apollo deluxe. More videos to come on my channel soon. Ill be making a full walk around then first official start up video. Hope everyone is riding safe!

I feel you bro... I've started prepping my bike and took the insurance off HOLD the other day.

I'll probably be on road within the next 2 weeks.

I'm SUB'd up on Youtube so I will be watching out for the vids.

Ride safe!

Thanks buddy...

Yes I'm in NY.. but I'm a little spoiled in that we hit 50's today.

Buffalo is still a bit BRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr

You must be going nuts staring at your brand new toy just waiting to play with it.

Good luck registering ...sometimes the DMV doesn't know WTF they are doing with some of these bikes.

My DMV needed a supervisor and a coworker to figure how to register it because it said TaoTao on the MCO and NY approves Tao Motors....

You guys make me appreciate the southern weather. :hehe: I pretty much ride year round but prefer temps 50 and up. Just get out and ride even if you are only putting around the neighborhood at 25 mph.

DMV in the west half of the state is a different animal from NYC area....LOL they are nice, and they actually know what they are doing... at least that has been my experience...

I rode to work almost all week on my Hawk. Highest temp was 58 in the day. 38 to 44 at night on my way home depending on the day.

Having proper riding gear with wind/water and thermal liners makes a big difference, but also wearing an extra layer or two doesn't hurt. I also have gloves just for riding in cooler weather.

My riding season - no snow or ice on the road.

Seriously, you are one of the more hardcore southerners I have known. I have friends in Southern Georgia and central Texas who whine about 50 degrees being cold. I would kill people to be able to ride in no colder than 50 degrees.

Yeah, I'm with you, Dan. 50 has been as warm as it has gotten on my commute this week in the mornings. Today it was 39.

I took both bikes around the block a week or two ago when we had a 50 degree day. Then we got like 10" of snow the next day and now its back in the high 40's. Rode the chonda around the yard, other bikes tore apart for tires, suspension work and neck bearings. Hoping things stay dry and warm!

Let me know how hurricane and tropical storm season goes. ;)

Always a trade off when it comes to weather.
