My stupid Venom X22/125 has CBR250-sized rims, only they're 5-bolt instead of 4x. My stock gearing ran 14/41 and I was topping out @63mph @ 9k rpm. The 150cc I bought has a 15t on it, which is what I wanted to start out with. But I cannot find a replacement for the rear! I was hoping to try a 15/39 combo to start off with.I found a Thunpstar 43t on TBolt, but that's going the wrong way. I was hoping to find a 38 or 39t. Hell! I'd be happy with a 40t, just to know I have variety! How hard would it be to switch to 4-bolt? I've never torn into a bike wheel before. Can I switch the hub out? Do I have to replace the whole rim? I was tempted to swap out to CBR250 rims anyways, for the better brakes. This might bring me one step closer if I can't find a rear sprocket.

PS- will CBR250 rims even fit? I'm wondering if the axles are going to line up. If the brake lines and hardware are goung to clear the forks and swing arms, etc... I guess I'll have to go to the junkyard and find a set. Only way I'll ever find out...

Send an email to jt sprockets with all of the dimensions. If it's used somewhere else, they can find it for you.

You will have to get one custom made. 35 tooth will be the smallest that will fit. I ordered one from here.

The JTR242 has the same specs but only comes in a 50 and 53 tooth.

Why not just change the front sprocket to a 16 or 17 tooth? Should be easier to find.

Thanks franque and Jerry! I'm already on PBI filling out the forms. This is AWESOME! By the way, Jerry, the engine already has a 15 on it, I plan on buying both 16 and 17. I wanted to start with a taller base out back since I was shorter than anyone else I had seen! I think I'll have more flexibility if I can switch out both sides. Do you have the 5-bolt CBR250-sized rims on your X22/250 as well?
